By Foot

In this work, I deal with the relationship of humans to its native environment and the most essential and original - the nature itself. For this, I take myself in a selected, still relative aboriginal space in the Alps, where I spent two weeks on a cross country walk, trying to get to the nature as close as possible.
Without foreing help, often during very bad weather conditions and sleeping open air, I have crossed the Alps.
Moments and thoughts, which were important for me in certain minutes during my walk, are recorded by photography and text fragments.
To drift through this nature space, to include in it, was important for me.
The work "By Foot" is not a chronological documentation of this walk, but a composition of different moments, spirits and impressions, which are reflecting this life and space.
